Welcome to Hot Cup of Tea, a trading name of Mondo Media Ltd, a UK-based Agile and Lean coaching business. By engaging with our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services.

1. Definitions

  • "Company" refers to Mondo Media Ltd, trading as Hot Cup of Tea.
  • "Client" refers to the individual or entity engaging the services of the Company.
  • "Services" refers to coaching, consulting, training, and any other support offered by the Company in the areas of Agile, Lean, and software development.

2. Services The Company provides coaching and consulting services aimed at improving the performance of teams within software or tech companies. These services are tailored based on the Client’s needs, but do not guarantee specific results. Our role is advisory and supportive, empowering teams to make their own improvements.

3. Fees and Payment

  • All fees for services are agreed upon in writing prior to the commencement of work.
  • Invoices will be issued upon completion of services or at agreed intervals during longer engagements.
  • Payment is due within 30 days of receipt of the invoice unless otherwise agreed.
  • The Company reserves the right to charge interest on overdue payments in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.

4. Cancellation and Rescheduling

  • Cancellations or rescheduling of booked services must be notified in writing.
  • Cancellations made less than 14 days before the agreed start date will incur a charge of 50% of the total fee.
  • Rescheduling will be subject to availability and must be agreed upon by both parties.

5. Confidentiality Both parties agree to maintain confidentiality regarding any sensitive information exchanged during the course of the engagement, including but not limited to business practices, strategies, and proprietary information. This obligation extends beyond the termination of the agreement.

6. Intellectual Property All materials, tools, and resources provided by the Company as part of the services remain the intellectual property of Mondo Media Ltd unless otherwise stated. The Client may not distribute, modify, or use these materials outside of the agreed engagement without the Company’s consent.

7. Limitation of Liability The Company will not be liable for any indirect, special, or consequential loss or damage arising out of or in connection with the services provided, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities.

The Company’s total liability to the Client, whether in contract, tort, or otherwise, will not exceed the total fees paid by the Client for the services provided.

8. Force Majeure The Company shall not be liable for any failure to fulfill its obligations where such failure is caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, or governmental actions.

9. Termination Either party may terminate the agreement with 30 days' written notice. The Company reserves the right to terminate the agreement immediately if the Client breaches any of these terms and conditions.

10. Governing Law These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

11. Amendments The Company reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website and will apply to future engagements.
